Senior Men
The Team
Our Senior Mens squad plays in the Football Brisbane Capital 3 Competition and consists of a first team and a reserves team. We normally are looking for a 32 player squad.
2020 sees Coach Corey Schofield return after a successful 2019 campaign with JUFC finishing 4th in the Cap 3 Firsts.
This year Corey will be trying for a top 2 finish to get the team promoted to Capital 2 in 2021
Game Day
On game day the teams will consist of 11 players (including a goalkeeper) on the field at any one time. Games are played with 2 x 45 minute halves. The Senior Men play with a size 5 ball. They play on a full size field with full size goals.
The team usually arrive 1 hour before kick off
The coach will be responsible for running and coaching the team.
The manager of the team will be responsible for communication to the squad and managing teamsheets via a digital format and submitting the team sheets at least 15 minutes before kick off of every game.
Game days are yet to be determined by Football Brisbane as of yet.
Season 2020
- Details will be posted once we have the information regarding the 2020 season from Football Briabane.
Fees for the Senior Men are $490.
(Juniors playing in senior Men – discounted fees are $460)
Registration fees for the season include:
- Football Australia Fees
- Football Queensland Fees
- Football Brisbane Fees
- End of year presentation
- All insurance coverage
- Contribution to operating costs
- Ref’s fees
- JUFC training Shirt
There are no weekly game fees at JUFC
Training
- At present, trials are currently underway at JUFC for a position in the Capital 3 squad.
- The sessions are Tuesday and Thursday nights (7:00 pm – 9:00 pm)
